Because Professor QB is one of the top entertainers in the area, it is recommended that you book a month or more in advance. For the Holidays (Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween) many clients book 4 - 6 months in advance.
If your event is less than a month away Professor QB will try hard to accommodate you and often can. Even if your event is tomorrow you should call Professor QB and he might be able to squeeze you in. But, it is best to call as soon as possible.
Sometimes a funny clown in bright clothes can be intimidating for a little person.
Professor QB has lots of characters: Pirate, Dr. Seuss, Western, and more.
Professor QB makes sure that he gives any children who are nervous plenty of space.
If you know the birthday child is afraid of clowns Professor QB can perform as another fun character.
Professor QB would rather make sure your birthday child has a special birthday than to try to force something on them before they are ready.
Most kids see how much fun the other kids are having and will "warm up" to Professor QB as the party goes on. It often happens that kids who start out a little shy end up being Professor QB's biggest fans by the end of the party.
Not much at all. For equipment and props Professor QB needs about a 6 foot by 6 foot area. Usually, your living room is a perfect place for this. Other than that, an area right in front of Professor QB's performing area for the children to sit and enjoy the show is all that is needed.
In general, all you need to do is push back the furniture and make some room for fun! Professor QB adjusts to meet the needs of your party.
Please help by saving a parking space, and give access through a door with the fewest steps possible. This makes it much easier for Professor QB to unload the equipment he brings to your party.
Professor QB brings his own case and table so there is no special requirements from you.
Yes Professor QB can, providing the weather is cooperative. Professor QB often performs outdoors for fairs and festivals. But, through years of birthday parties Professor QB has found that birthday party shows are almost always better indoors.
East Texas weather is unpredictable. Even if the weather is great for playing games outside, it can get too hot or cold for the kids in a hurry when they are sitting down for the show. If the wind is blowing, that can be too much as some props are very light and will blow away.
If you plan to have the show indoors you will not have to worry about inclement weather or distractions.
Due to liability issues, it is required that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (besides Professor QB). This is to protect you, the children, and Professor QB.
Plus, it will be more fun for the adults to be in on the fun. There are plenty of photo ops during the show so you will enjoy watching the kids have fun.
